About the Artist
Welcome!

Deborah Roskopf, NWWS, has been painting, drawing, and creating since childhood. Raised in southern Indiana and inspired and mentored by family and teachers, there was never a question that she would be absorbed in the world of art.
After graduating from Ball State University, she found success as an illustrator, graphic designer, trompe l'oil artist and muralist, and spent time in the corporate world. These experiences led to the success of her 25+ years as a respected design consultant in the northwest.
With a life long passion for drawing, Deborah gravitates toward an opportunity to incorporate drawing in the work, favoring watercolor, acrylic, and a variety of other media in the exploration of both objective and nonobjective work. She is drawn to people and portraiture primarily, a dash of cafes and street fairs, and the architectural lines of unexpected subject matter.
She works from her studio in Redmond, WA and is inspired by the remarkable grace of living on a beautiful lake couples with the serenity of country living.
